Instant Appliance Repair LLC (“we”, “us”) repairs household appliances in homes in Stafford, VA and nearby towns. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you book online, we collect your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code or service address, the appliance and the problem you describe, your preferred day and arrival window, and whether the property is a home or a rental or commercial property.
When you send a message, we collect your name, phone number or email address, ZIP code, the appliance and your message.
Our web server keeps standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested and the time of the request) to keep the site secure and working.
How we use it
- To schedule your visit, confirm your arrival window and carry out the repair.
- To contact you about your booking or message by phone, text or email, including a text when the technician is on the way.
- To keep job records for warranty claims, accounting and our legal obligations.
- To protect the website from spam and abuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Text messages
If you give us a mobile number, we may text you about your appointment. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message and we will stop texting you.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that help us run the business, such as website hosting, email delivery, appointment scheduling and payment processing, and only for those purposes. We will also share information if the law requires it.
Maps, cookies and analytics
Our area pages show a static map image. The interactive map from OpenStreetMap loads only if you choose to open it; when it loads, OpenStreetMap receives your IP address. This site does not set advertising cookies. WordPress sets technical cookies only for staff who log in.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and job records for as long as we need them for warranty, accounting and legal purposes, then delete them. Messages that do not lead to a booking are deleted once we no longer need them to reply to you.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it or delete it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for asking.
Security
The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to customer records is limited to the people who need it to do the work.
Children
This website is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
